Leisure & Cultural Activities

Discover the exciting life in Barcelona and have fun practicing Spanish!

We offer throughout the year a very complete optional program of cultural and leisure activities for all our Spanish students and even some of them shared with Spanish students of other languages.

Depending on the time of the year, we organize between 1 and 5 activities per week. We publish the information of the activities on our school information board, on the reception board and on our social networks. There you will find the information and description of the activity, day and time it is performed, price and a list where to sign up.

Most of the activities we organize are free or subsidized by the school, although some may have a cost for admission or transportation, which can range between 5€ I 10€ per student.

The activities we organize are cycling routes, wine tastings, cooking workshops, flamenco classes, salsa or tango, visits to monuments such as La Sagrada Familia or La Pedrera, visits to museums and art galleries, visits to La Boquería Market or to the Magic Fountains of Montjuich, walking routes through the neighborhoods of Barcelona such as Raval, Gothic, Borne or Barceloneta, picnics in the Ciutadella Park, dinner on the beach, flamenco shows, music concerts, ruta de tapas, football matches, outdoor yoga sessions, Ping-Pong or Table football tournaments, Castellers shows, outdoor movie screenings, or out-of-town excursions such as Sitges, Castelldefels, Montserrat, Vilassar de Mar, Estartit, Cadaqués or Tarragona.

We organize gastronomic activities where we visit some of the best bars, terraces and beach bars in Barcelona such as Tomás Bar, Ginger Bar, Mirablau Bar, Mau-Mau Bar, Rouge Bar, Black Sheep or Caseta del Migdia, where you can try some typical dishes of our cuisine.

Also additional activities in the school such as the cooking contest, the photo contest, the Karaoke contest or special activities for Carnival, Sant Jordi, Sant Joan, Halloween or Christmas.

Our teachers always accompany you to help you improve your Spanish during the activities, where you will discover our culture, gastronomy, history and, of course, the exciting life in Barcelona and its surroundings.

Another activity that we organize together with the Spanish students of the school who are studying other languages is the Language Exchange, which usually takes place in a bar or terrace.
